Your PET heating oven lives and dies by those infrared lamps. If they aren&amp;rsquo;t exactly right, you&amp;rsquo;re in for a headache.&#xA;We’ve spent a lot of time making sure our replacement lamps fit these machines (and other global blow-molding setups) perfectly.&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: most of these ovens use shortwave IR to soften the preforms. But if the lamp specs don&amp;rsquo;t line up with your machine&amp;rsquo;s electrical footprint, things go south quickly. You end up with &lt;a href=&#34;https://goldisgood.com&#34;&gt;uneven&lt;/a&gt; heating or, even worse, lamps that burn out way too soon.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The electrical side of things&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;The SBO Series 2 is picky. It needs a very specific balance of voltage and wattage to keep the heat steady. We use high-voltage quartz tubes because they have the punch needed to get through the PET wall without scorching the surface.&#xA;If you use a lamp with the wrong wattage, it &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;messes&lt;/a&gt; with your oven&amp;rsquo;s temperature loop. You&amp;rsquo;ll start noticing &amp;ldquo;cold spots&amp;rdquo; in the bottle shoulder or bases that look over-stretched. It&amp;rsquo;s frustrating, and it wastes material.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Built to take the heat&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We went with heavy-wall quartz glass. Why? Because these lamps go through a lot of thermal shock during rapid cycling, and they need to be tough.&#xA;We also added a halogen gas fill. It basically pushes evaporated tungsten back onto the filament, which means the lamp lasts longer. As for the fit, we use standard R7s or SK15 connectors. They just slide right in. No rewiring, no modifying the holders, no fuss.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to watch out for&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;High-wattage lamps are great for fast cycle times, but they put a lot of pressure on your cooling fans.&#xA;If your airflow is choked with dust, these lamps will run hotter than they should. That&amp;rsquo;s a shortcut to a shorter lifespan.&#xA;Also, please,&lt;strong&gt;keep your reflectors clean&lt;/strong&gt;. A dusty reflector can waste about 20% of your IR energy. That forces the lamp to work harder than it needs to, which just isn&amp;rsquo;t efficient.&#xA;We keep these in stock so you don&amp;rsquo;t have to deal with those endless OEM lead times. You get the same heat and the same performance, just without the brand-name markup.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
