When your KHS blow molder’s heating tunnel starts drifting, preforms don’t hit the right stretch temperature, and the bottles come out inconsistent. Downtime climbs while you wait for a service window, and scrap piles up. We built a replacement infrared lamp for KHS blow molders to break that cycle.

What matters technically

We spec the lamp to match KHS heating requirements: medium-wave infrared output tuned for PET preform heating, stable filament temperature for a predictable heat profile, and the correct R7s base and quartz tube dimensions. Voltage and wattage are chosen to match the OEM heating zone load, so the control system sees the same electrical behavior. The quartz envelope handles rapid thermal cycling, and the internal geometry keeps the hot zone focused where the preform needs it.
